Study Abroad
In-Country Study Units (semester abroad)
(6 credit points)
Students wishing to study in Italy for one semester must enrol in one of the following units:
EUL301 In-Country Study Unit I (first semester) and
EUL302 In-Country Study Unit II (second semester).
Students have the opportunity of undertaking an approved program of study at an Italian university, with which Macquarie has an exchange agreement. We currently have exchanges with the following univerisities:
University of Bologna - Bologna
University of Malta - Link Campus - Rome
University of Roma No. 3 - Rome
University of Verona - Verona
University of Urbino - Urbino
University degree regulations require students studying overseas to complete at least 9 of the minimum of 18 credit points needed at 300-level at Macquarie University. Prior to enrolment students need to discuss their overseas program with the Head of Italian Studies and seek approval from the Head of the Department of European Languages.
