Short Residential Units in Italy
(3 credit points)
These units enable students to attend a three-week, intensive language course at an Italian university or language school during the mid-year break in July (Bologna University) and the semester break in January (Florence). Students have the opportunity of acquiring, consolidating and enhancing language skills in an authentic environment and participating in additional weekend excursions and in cultural studies programs in the afternoons.
Students wishing to participate must enrol in the following units:
ITL109 Beginners' Residential Short Unit in Italy
ITL209 Intermediate Residential Short Unit In Italy
ITL305 Advanced Residential Short Unit in Italy
BOLOGNA UNIVERSITY (July)
This unit is organised by the Department of European Languages - Italian Studies in collaboration with the Bologna University summer school program.
An information session regarding costs, organisation of tour and enrolment procedures will be held in the Department at the beginning of first semester each year.
FLORENCE (January)
This short intensive language course is organised through Macquarie International in collaboration with Il Globo Language school in Florence.
