CRO250 Intermediate Croatian I
Welcome to CRO250 Intermediate Croatian 1, the first in a sequence of two Intermediate Croatian units.
This unit has been prepared for students with a basic knowledge of Croatian. That includes students who would complete Elementary Croatian 1, 2 and 3, or would have studies Croatian for HCS. The unit is also recommended to students with some formal education from Croatia or are background speakers. In Croatian Studies Centre we have prepared a set of six lectures, which represent our internal textbook. All of the students in this unit are external and they are all provided with this textbook and a set of 12 lectures (on CD) which are designed specifically to guide students through material. The unit is designed for flexible learning and teaching material consists of audio material, textbook and computer mediated communication. Students will be able to use bulletin board for discussion with unit convener and other students. There are regular consultation hours for on campus students and we also held regular on campus session where students will have opportunity to meet their lecturer and other students, to practise pronunciation and their speaking skills.
