CRO365 Advanced Croatian IV
Welcome to CRO365 Advanced Croatian IV. The aim of this unit is to introduce students to translating skills of Croatian. The course concentrates on two main areas of study: (i) Introduction to translation theory and techniques of translating, and (ii) The study of language with emphasis on improving every day vocabulary as well as acquiring the vocabulary in specialized areas, idiomatic usage, etc. The unit therefore provides an introduction to the skills and knowledge needed for the work in the field of translating and interpreting. The emphasis is on the development of practical skills.
