GMN288 Intermediate German II
GMN 288 is the second in a sequence of two intermediate German units. It has been prepared for students who have successfully completed GMN287 Intermediate German I. The unit is based on a textbook which is communicative in its approach, so there is strong emphasis on listening and speaking as well as reading and writing skills. GMN 288 is offered in distance education mode, using online delivery of materials as well as computer mediated communication. Students will be able to use the unit's bulletin board for discussions with one another and the unit convener. For external students, an on-campus session will be held, where students will have the opportunity to meet their lecturer and fellow students, to revise the material covered so far and to further practise their pronunciation and speaking skills.
