GMN311 Advanced German II
Welcome to GMN 311, your second advanced German unit. In this course, students will further develop their speaking and listening skills with the help of authentic material from German-speaking countries. The course also expands students' ability to read and write German. The class work in Advanced German I and II as well as the tasks set for independent study enable students to develop the level of complexity in speaking, listening, reading and writing German which is required for the "Goethe-Zertifikat C1". Students enrolled in GMN 311 will have the opportunity to sit for the Zertifikat at the end of the year (November). This upper intermediate-level exam is conducted globally by the Goethe-Institut and provides students with a reliable indicator of German language skills which is recognised world-wide in business and education.
