ITL102 Introductory Italian I (3 CP)
Benvenuti! – Welcome to ITL102 Introductory Italian I.
This is the first unit in the Italian sequence for beginners. No previous knowledge of Italian is assumed, so it is open to anyone who may be interested in learning Italian. The on-campus unit consists of four hours per week. Class time will be spent using a variety of media and activities to encourage a communicative approach placing emphasis on practical applications.
External students will receive a CD with lecture recordings and will have access to Blackboard CE6 applications; this includes the use of a bulletin board for discussions and for getting to know fellow students. Supplementary activities will also be made available to all ITL102 students on Blackboard CE6, providing an excellent opportunity to further and/or test their skills.
