Welcome to PLH323 Modern Polish Prose and Poetry.
This unit has been designed to introduce students to the best Polish achievements in this field. Tthrough the study of some modern Polish stories in original or in English to enrich your knowledge about Polish literature. You will be working on the recommended texts by yourselves doing research on the authors and their writings using various resources from the libraries or electronic media. There is no exam for this unit, however, students are encouraged to participate in a voluntary on campus session. Reading the novel and poems it is not only a way of enriching your vocabulary and knowledge about Polish literature but also a form of a enjoyable entertainment. We hope, that you will enjoy discovering an imaginative world of the prose and poetry.
